Operations Manager – RPM Physical Therapy

RPM Physical Therapy is looking for a driven and experienced Operations Manager to help lead, streamline, and scale our growing clinic. This role is ideal for someone who has managed multiple teams, built efficient systems, and helped take a small business to the next level. If you've had a hand in expanding operations, launching new locations, or building up a strong internal culture, you're exactly who we are looking for.

Experience in physical therapy, fitness, or health/wellness settings is a huge plus. We're looking for someone who can bring clarity, leadership, and structure to our fast-moving environment.

To apply, include a cover letter that highlights your top three strengths related to leadership or operations.

About Us

Here at RPM Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on a different approach to care, offering one-on-one, hour-long sessions in a setting that blends manual therapy, strength training, and full-body rehabilition. Our clients are typically adults 35 and older, many of whom have dealt with chronic pain, failed surgeries, or are just committed to staying active and mobile for the long term.

We’ve built a unique space where physical therapists and personal trainers work together to create long-term solutions for our patients. When someone finishes therapy, we secure the investment in their health by transitioning them into structured training with a personal trainer who’s guided by their therapist. This is how we keep people strong, pain-free, and moving for the rest of their life.

Job Duties

As our Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with the leadership team to keep things running smoothly while helping us grow. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily operations across admin, physical therapists, and training staff
  • Identifying inefficiencies and creating systems to improve workflow and communication
  • Managing team performance and making sure everyone is aligned with company goals
  • Tracking key business metrics and developing reporting tools for accountability
  • Translating leadership vision into clear, executable plans
  • Playing a major role in strategic planning, including future location expansion

Leadership and Growth

This role isn’t just about managing tasks; it’s about helping build the future of RPM Physical Therapy. You’ll have a large active role in shaping how our business runs. Whether it's refining current operations or leading new initiatives, you’ll be involved at every level.

We believe in developing leaders from within. You’ll be supported with ongoing mentorship, leadership development, and the chance to take ownership of projects that help with the growth of our business. If you’re the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced setting, loves solving problems, and wants to help people get better, this is a rare opportunity to make an impact.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings experience, vision, and the ability to execute. The ideal candidate:

  • Has at least 3 years of experience managing operations or teams in a small business
  • Has a track record of improving systems, increasing efficiency, or driving business growth
  • Is comfortable leading others, creating structure, and making decisions
  • Knows their way around Google Workspace, spreadsheets, scheduling systems, and CRMs
  • Can communicate clearly and confidently with both staff and leadership
  • Has experience in the PT, fitness, or wellness world (not required, but preferred)
  • Is excited to work on-site with a team that is passionate, focused, and mission driven

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, in-person role based in The Woodlands, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Benefits include:

  • Health insurance support (up to $250/month)
  • Paid time off, sick days, and emergency/weather days
